Dan James

In addition to being a founding partner of Web GPO, Dan is also the Managing Partner of an independent consulting firm James Healthcare Consulting, LLC (JHC) specializing in strategic planning, and financial, revenue and operational performance improvement. Employing a flexible, customized, solution oriented approach with a focus on identifying, implementing and delivering substantial and quantifiable opportunities and results for clients.

Dan’s leadership experience spans healthcare supply chain distribution, manufacturing sales and service, group purchasing, business development, supply chain national accounts, contract fulfillment, and data analytics.  

For 12 plus years Dan was a senior executive with MedAssets, a leading healthcare performance improvement and group purchasing organization focused on helping providers reduce the total cost of care. Dan served in many leadership roles ranging from vice president of implementation to president of the revenue cycle and spend management business segments.  MedAssets under Dan’s leadership evolved into a leading publicly traded performance improvement company. He managing the design, development and deployment of all contract execution and fulfilment processes including the creation of an industry first supply chain guaranteed savings program. His teams delivered savings guarantees resulting in over $1.0 billion in annual documented financial improvements for over 100 health systems and hospitals. He was a member of the 2012 and 2010 Presidents Clubs, led the Implementation team to the 2005 High Performance Team of the Year, and was the 2004 recipient of MedAssets’ President’s Award.

Prior to joining MedAssets Dan has held various sales, operations and management positions with Cardinal Health, Allegiance, Baxter Healthcare, and American Hospital Supply Corporation. He has years in healthcare distribution, manufacturing, and national accounts and has worked with health systems, hospitals, non-acute providers, and group purchasing organizations. Dan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from University of Notre Dame – Mendoza College of Business in Notre Dame, Indiana. He holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Indiana University, South Bend, Indiana.

Brian Berger

Mr. Berger is a founding partner of WEB GPO responsible for business strategy, industry relations, client engagement and new ventures. He is an industry expert with extensive knowledge in food service management, healthcare support services, concept development, contractual agreements and negotiations, operational and financial analysis.

His twenty years of experience in dining and advisory services includes working in sectors such as casual, upscale, full-service and, quick service retail dining establishments; food contract management (hospitals, businesses, stadiums, and universities); and support services (environmental/housekeeping, facility management, patient transportation).

Brian is also the Principal of JBH Advisory Group, a Hospital Consulting Firm. Additionally, his operational experience includes working as a consultant within PricewatehouseCoopers Hospitality & Leisure practice, and with restaurant and contract dining companies such as ARAMARK, Houston’s Restaurants, Legal Seafood and Domino’s Pizza. Mr. Berger also developed and operated his own establishment, the Annapolis Grill, in Washington DC. Mr. Berger is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and currently resides in New York City with his wife and son.

Lynne Jacoby

As a founding partner of Web GPO Lynne is responsible for business strategy, industry relations, client engagement and new ventures. She possesses over 30 years of retail and contract food service development, operational analysis and advisory experience. She is a proven expert in business transformation and profit optimization and am recognized in the industry as a leader in both fields.

Lynne also serves as the Principal of JBH Advisory Group - a Hospitality Consulting Firm. Previous experience also includes leading the Food and Beverage practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and serving as a Senior Vice President for a multi-billion dollar food service management company, Restaurant Group Developer/Manager and Market Analyst and Retail Specialty Food Buyer and Restaurant Owner and President of NYC Catering Company.
